Effortless PRC ID Renewal: Step-by-Step Guide to NCR Shipping via LERIS

Renewing your Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID is an essential step for every licensed professional in the Philippines. With the advancement of technology, the PRC has made the process more convenient through its online platform, the Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS). One of the most efficient ways to renew your PRC ID is by opting for the NCR shipping service, which allows professionals within Metro Manila to receive their new PRC ID at their doorstep.

This guide will walk you through the complete process, from account registration to receiving your renewed PRC ID via the NCR shipping option.

The PRC is the governing body responsible for regulating and supervising licensed professionals in the Philippines. Every three years, professionals are required to renew their PRC ID to ensure that they remain in good standing within their respective fields.

The PRC has introduced the LERIS online system to make PRC ID renewal more efficient. This system allows professionals to process applications, schedule appointments, and select delivery options for their renewed PRC IDs. The NCR shipping option eliminates the need for a physical visit to PRC offices, making it a hassle-free experience.

Before proceeding with your PRC license renewal, ensure that you have the following:

  • A stable internet connection
  • A valid email address
  • Your PRC license number
  • A recent 2×2 ID photo with a white background and name tag
  • Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units (if applicable)

Before starting your PRC ID renewal, log in to your LERIS account. If you don’t have an account yet, register first on the Professional Regulation Commission’s (PRC) website.

Ensure all your details are accurate and up-to-date. This includes your name, contact number, and mailing address, as these will be used for processing and shipping your PRC ID. Any incorrect information can cause delays, so double-check before proceeding.

Your profile picture must be recent (taken within the last 6 months) and must follow PRC’s photo guidelines:

  • 2×2 inches
  • Colored and with a white background
  • Not blurred
  • Eyeglasses, contact lenses, or heavy makeup are not allowed.
  • You must wear decent attire with a collar.
  • Shows your entire face and fits within the prescribed frame
  • Taken within 6 months from the transaction date.

Choose how you will pay for your PRC renewal application:

  • Online payment via Land Bank ePayment Portal
  • Over-the-counter (OTC) payment at PRC offices
  • Payment through PRC-accredited partners (7-Eleven, Bayad Center, or select banks)

NOTE: If you choose GCash as your payment method (which I did), you’ll be redirected to a new page where a QR code will appear. All I had to do was scan the QR code using my phone, confirm the payment in the GCash app, and that was it—quick and hassle-free. Right after, I received a confirmation text and email from PRC, letting me know that my payment was successfully processed.

Once PRC has processed your renewal, you will receive an email from ncrshipping@prc.gov.ph with the subject “PRC NCR SHIPPING OPTION.” This email will provide a link to the FSI booking system, where you can arrange for your PRC ID delivery.

The processing time varies, but typically, once your PRC ID is released to FSI, you will receive it within 5-10 business days, depending on your location.

Here’s the timeline of my transaction:

  • March 17 – Submitted my PRC license renewal application via LERIS.
  • March 18 – Received an email from PRC with instructions and booked my shipment with FSI on the same day.
  • March 24 – PRC confirmed that my PRC ID had been released to FSI for shipping.
  • March 28 – My PRC ID finally arrived at my doorstep

You will receive an SMS notification from the FSI delivery rider on the day your PRC ID is scheduled for delivery. Make sure your registered contact number is active and available.

If your PRC ID has not arrived within the expected timeframe, you can:

  • Email ncr.shipping@prc.gov.ph to check your status.
  • Track the delivery via the FSI website using the reference number provided in your booking confirmation.
  • You may also contact them via SMS and/or Viber (I tried it, and they got back to me the same day).

Yes! If you are unavailable, you can authorize someone to receive your PRC ID by providing:

  • A signed authorization letter
  • A photocopy of your valid government-issued ID
  • A photocopy of the authorized person’s valid ID

This depends on your profession. While CPD compliance is encouraged, PRC has temporarily relaxed CPD requirements for some professions. Check PRC’s official website for updated guidelines on CPD compliance.

No. Once you have booked your PRC ID delivery, the address cannot be changed. Make sure to input the correct address during the booking process to avoid issues.

If you forget your password, click on “Forgot Password” on the LERIS login page and follow the instructions to reset it.

The renewal processing and PRC ID shipping were paid separately. I spent P630.00 for the license renewal application, and for the delivery via FSI, I paid P185.00 (though the price may vary depending on your location).

Renewing your PRC ID via NCR shipping at the LERIS website is a stress-free and efficient way to stay compliant with PRC regulations. By following this guide, you can ensure a smooth renewal process while enjoying the convenience of doorstep delivery.

For more information, visit the PRC’s official website and stay updated on any changes to the renewal process. Keep your PRC ID active and continue practicing your profession with confidence!
