Renewing your Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) ID is an essential step for every licensed professional in the Philippines. With the advancement of technology, the PRC has made the process more convenient through its online platform, the Licensure Examination and Registration Information System (LERIS). One of the most efficient ways to renew your PRC ID is by opting for the NCR shipping service, which allows professionals within Metro Manila to receive their new PRC ID at their doorstep.
This guide will walk you through the complete process, from account registration to receiving your renewed PRC ID via the NCR shipping option.
Understanding PRC and the LERIS System
The PRC is the governing body responsible for regulating and supervising licensed professionals in the Philippines. Every three years, professionals are required to renew their PRC ID to ensure that they remain in good standing within their respective fields.
The PRC has introduced the LERIS online system to make PRC ID renewal more efficient. This system allows professionals to process applications, schedule appointments, and select delivery options for their renewed PRC IDs. The NCR shipping option eliminates the need for a physical visit to PRC offices, making it a hassle-free experience.
Preparing for Your PRC License Renewal
Before proceeding with your PRC license renewal, ensure that you have the following:
- A stable internet connection
- A valid email address
- Your PRC license number
- A recent 2×2 ID photo with a white background and name tag
- Continuing Professional Development (CPD) units (if applicable)
Part 1: Initiating the PRC License Renewal Process
Step 1: Log in to Your LERIS Account
Before starting your PRC ID renewal, log in to your LERIS account. If you don’t have an account yet, register first on the Professional Regulation Commission’s (PRC) website.
Step 2: Update Your Profile (If Needed)
Ensure all your details are accurate and up-to-date. This includes your name, contact number, and mailing address, as these will be used for processing and shipping your PRC ID. Any incorrect information can cause delays, so double-check before proceeding.
Step 3: Upload a Recent Photo
Your profile picture must be recent (taken within the last 6 months) and must follow PRC’s photo guidelines:
- 2×2 inches
- Colored and with a white background
- Not blurred
- Eyeglasses, contact lenses, or heavy makeup are not allowed.
- You must wear decent attire with a collar.
- Shows your entire face and fits within the prescribed frame
- Taken within 6 months from the transaction date.

Step 4: Select Transaction
- Click on ‘Select Transaction’.
- Choose the ‘RENEWAL’ tab.
- In the profession dropdown menu, select your registered profession.
- Enter your PRC license number.
- Scroll to the bottom and click ‘Proceed’.
Step 5: Fill Out the Renewal Details

A. Appointment Details
- In the ‘Select Preferred PRC Regional Office’ dropdown, choose ‘NCR Shipping (For Metro Manila Delivery Only)’.
- The earliest available schedule will be displayed on the left side of the screen.
- If you choose a different schedule, provide a valid reason.
- Click ‘Next’.

B. Additional Details
- Enter your current employer’s details (even if your job is unrelated to your profession).
- Specify your industry type.
- Provide your office address to ensure proper documentation for your PRC ID renewal.

C. Select Payment Channel
Choose how you will pay for your PRC renewal application:
- Online payment via Land Bank ePayment Portal
- Over-the-counter (OTC) payment at PRC offices
- Payment through PRC-accredited partners (7-Eleven, Bayad Center, or select banks)
NOTE: If you choose GCash as your payment method (which I did), you’ll be redirected to a new page where a QR code will appear. All I had to do was scan the QR code using my phone, confirm the payment in the GCash app, and that was it—quick and hassle-free. Right after, I received a confirmation text and email from PRC, letting me know that my payment was successfully processed.

D. Submit Transaction
- Before submitting, check, double-check, and triple-check all the information.
- Once everything is correct, submit your PRC ID renewal application.
- Keep a screenshot or copy of the transaction confirmation for reference.

Step 6: Prepare Your PRC License Renewal Documents
- Go back to your LERIS account and select ‘Existing Transaction’.
- The most recent transaction will be displayed at the top.
- Save the following in PDF format:
- Payment Details
- Renewal Form
- EOR (Electronic Official Receipt)

Part 2: Booking the Delivery via FSI
After completing your PRC ID renewal application, you will receive an email from ncrshipping@prc.gov.ph with the subject ‘PRC NCR SHIPPING OPTION’ within 48 hours.
- The email contains instructions on how to book delivery with FSI (Fastrak Services, Inc).
- Follow the link provided in the email to book your PRC ID delivery.
- Ensure that your address and contact details are correct to avoid delivery delays.
- A tracking number will be provided once your PRC ID is dispatched.
- Check your spam folder in case the email does not appear in your inbox.

NOTE: After filling out the form completely, I was redirected to a payment page. Since I chose GCash as my payment method, a QR code popped up, which I simply scanned using my mobile app.
Part 3: Submitting PRC Renewal Documents
Step 1: Compile Your Documents in a Single PDF File
- SIGNED Renewal Form
- Additional documentary requirements (if applicable, e.g., CPD Certificates)
- Electronic Official Receipt (EOR) from PRC
- Booking Confirmation from FSI
NOTE: I assume PRC cross-checks with CPDAS to see if there are any valid CPD units on record. But just to be on the safe side, I went ahead and included my CPD certificates in the PDF file I submitted.
Step 2: Send the Documents via Email
Email the PDF file to ncr.shipping@prc.gov.ph or simply reply to the ‘PRC NCR SHIPPING OPTION’ email you received earlier.
- Use a clear subject line such as ‘PRC ID Renewal – [Your Name]’ to ensure your email is processed correctly.
- Keep a copy of your email and sent documents for future reference.
Step 3: Wait for PRC’s Response
- PRC will acknowledge the receipt of your documents.
- If additional requirements are needed, they will inform you.
- Respond promptly to any follow-ups to avoid processing delays.
- Once approved, they will release your PRC ID to FSI for shipping.

Part 4: Await the Delivery of Your PRC ID

- Make sure someone is available to receive the package at the provided address.
- Once received, check your PRC ID for accuracy, ensuring your name, license number, and expiry date are correct.
