How was your holiday? Mine was absolutely fantastic—filled with love, laughter, and exciting culinary adventures! My niece and nephews stayed over, and one of the highlights was having them help me prepare our Christmas feast. My 9-year-old niece stole the show when she confidently took on the culinary challenge of making a Mango Float with minimal help. Watching her carefully layer the ingredients with such focus was like witnessing a little chef in action!
Her passion for food didn’t stop there. A visit to a nearby bubble tea shop sparked her dream of running her own, and she even charmed the owner into giving her a complimentary Chocolate Milktea! Inspired, she convinced her dad to buy supplies, and by the next day, she was proudly serving her first homemade drink—with me as her first customer. It was one of the most heart-warming culinary moments I’ve ever experienced! The holidays truly brought us closer through food, and I can’t wait to see where Paige’s passion takes her next. How about you? Did you have any special culinary experiences this season?

I stumbled upon CulinarySchools.Org, and let me tell you—it was a total game-changer! They offer a fantastic selection of culinary games, from Arcade Classics and Physics Puzzles to Memory & Matching challenges. My niece had an absolute blast exploring them, and I loved watching her excitement as she tackled each culinary adventure.
The best part? It gave her a real feel for what it’s like to run her own Bubble Tea Shop! She practiced everything from managing ingredients to serving up delicious virtual drinks, which only fueled her growing culinary passion. Seeing her immerse herself in these culinary challenges made me even more excited about where her love for food and drinks might take her next. Who knows? Maybe this is just the start of her future culinary journey!

Another amazing tool that I grew to love is the Ingredient Conversion Tool. As someone who enjoys baking, I know that some instructions can be vague and that most measurements are in metric, so it’s a good idea to keep conversion charts or calculators on hand.
Tipping isn’t customary in our country, but because wages are so low, it’s normal for individuals to kindly round up the bill. Here in the Philippines, we do not have a strong tipping culture so leaving gratuity is up to you. Unless a charge is included in the bill or the service is really poor, the general rule is to leave a 5-10% tip. At least, that’s what I try to do.
A tool that I find useful in this regard is the Tip Calculator. All you have to do is enter the total amount, the number of persons dividing the bill, and the percentage you wish to give the server. If you are happy with the service, a 15% tip is standard.
I’m glad I discovered this hidden gem as it kept my niece and nephews entertained during their stay. It also gave my niece a taste of what it would be like to manage her own Bubble Tea Shop, which she was quite enthusiastic about.
The games are adorable and so fun! Thanks a lot for your introduction and I will share with my kids and friends!
This looks fun! I really want to do some cooking games with my students to understand how the process works.
