I’m sure many of you have heard about their snarky remarks, their ability to be openly honest, and their ability to take the piss out of you. In December, my boyfriend came to visit for a month, and here’s what I learned about living with a Frenchman.

Those who met Grayson in real life said he looks like Johnny Depp when he was young. *rolls eyes*

Their loyalty is true and strong but they have little respect for your privacy.

Frenchmen are known for their loyalty and strong sense of duty. However, they can be quite nosy and intrusive when it comes to your personal life. They may not respect your privacy as much as you would like, but their intentions are usually good. Frenchmen are also very passionate people, and this can extend to their relationships with others.

They will have an opinion about everything.

If you’re trying to study or just want some peace and quiet, you may find it hard to get with your French man in the house. They love to talk and socialize, and may not understand why you want to be alone.

The French are known for their love of good food, wine and conversation. They also have a reputation for being very opinionated. So, if you’re looking for an honest opinion about something, you can always ask a Frenchman. They’ll be more than happy to tell you what they think. Just be prepared to listen to their point of view, even if it’s different from your own.

French men are actually quite “manly” in the kitchen (or at least my man is).

It is often said that Frenchmen are not particularly “manly” in the kitchen. This may be true of some French men, but it is certainly not true of all of them. My man is a great cook and I love watching him in action. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty and he’s always experimenting with new recipes. He’s also a master of the grill, and I always enjoy a good meal that he’s cooked up. When it comes to food, he’s definitely the man in charge.

They’re not always punctual.

If you’re used to everyone showing up on time, you may be in for a bit of a surprise with your Frenchman. They’re not always the most punctual people, and may not understand why you’re so worried about being on time. Living with a Frenchman has taught me that our culture has something in common: Filipinos and French people are both notorious for being late to events and gatherings.

They are not into breakfast, oh no, not at all! It’s all about the bread, cheese and wine at dinner time, and then some cake later on.

For them, breakfast is a mere formality, something to be gotten out of the way quickly so that they can get on with their day. It’s all about the bread, cheese and French wine at dinner time, and then some cake later on. They take their time over dinner, savoring each bite and enjoying the company of those they are sharing the meal with. After dinner, they might have a glass of wine or a cup of coffee, and then it’s time for dessert. Crème Brûlée is their weakness, and they often have trouble resisting.

They drop the f-bomb when they eat something delicious.

When the French eat something that they really enjoy, they sometimes can’t help but exclaim their excitement with an expletive. In this case, the “f-bomb” is dropped. This is usually accompanied by a look of pure ecstasy on his face, as he savor every bite of the delicious food. It’s a moment of pure bliss, and for a moment, all of life’s troubles vanish. In that moment, all that matters is the food, and the pleasure that it brings.

They don’t really do French kissing.

French kissing is often thought of as the most intimate of all kisses, but many people don’t realize that the French don’t actually do it that often. In France, kissing on the lips is more of a greeting or a sign of affection, but it is not typically done with tongue or with any great degree of passion. From my experience living with a Frenchman, if you’re looking for a truly French kiss, you might be disappointed.

They’re passionate about their hobbies.

French people love their hobbies, and you may find yourself being dragged along to some interesting places and activities. While living with a Frenchman, I’ve taken up new interests and practices which is both fun and beneficial. Be prepared to try new things!

You will never be able to get away with your bad habits.

If you’re used to getting away with your bad habits, you might want to think twice before dating a French man. They’re known for being honest and direct, and they’ll quickly point out any of your shortcomings. Whether it’s your messy bedroom or your unhealthy eating habits, a French man will never let you get away with anything less than your best. So if you’re looking for a partner who will always hold you accountable, a French man is the perfect choice.

You will learn more in one day than you have ever done before in your life

If you want to learn something new, then spending time with a French man is a great way to do it. In just one day, you can learn more from him than you ever have before in your life. He will teach you about his culture, his language, and his country. You will also learn about his food, his wine, and his fashion. Spending time with a French man is an experience that you will never forget.
