Safety Tips for Running in the Dark

I usually run in the evening, first  because of convenience and not necessarily preference. It’s practically impossible to run in the morning (except for weekends) when there is work and other responsibilities to attend to. Second, there is way less humidity than there is in the morning and that’s what makes a run feel difficult for me. I can’t deal with too much heat. Finicky much? 😛

Last February 1, 2015, I ran my first 42km, the Condura Skyway Marathon.  I was a little apprehensive because it was my first time to run a race that I think couldn’t finish. Honestly, it was an overwhelming and humbling experience. Maybe one day I’ll run the race again and get my time but for now, I’m just really thankful to have done it and finished injure-free.
