I was invited to go do a food review of Hungry Sumo Taiwanese Mix Restaurant in Banawe, QC last week and I was really excited to try it out. The restaurant was such a refreshing change. Just from entering the place, it has a nice laid back vibe, and is quite cozy.
Hungry Sumo serve sumo-size yet affordable meals that will surely please your taste preferences and make your tummy happy. Some might say their menu is limited, but I’d rather go somewhere with fewer items done very well. 😉

I love Japanese cuisine. In fact, one of the things that’s on my bucketlist is to eat Japanese food in Japan. I did and I’ve never been happier. When I returned to Manila, I truly miss eating sushi, maki, udon, ramen, and the rest goes on. My cravings never seized in fact, they became more pronounced and demanding. Ok, so much for my back story.
A friend and I stumbled upon, Ooma Japanese Rice Bar located in Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall. I love the ambiance of this place – casual and fun, and at the same time big enough, which meant that tables aren’t packed too closely to each other giving patrons plenty of privacy and it’s not that too noisy compared to other restaurants. By the way, I’ve already been here twice.

Roasted Pecan, Half-Baked Madagascar, and Javan Hot Chocolate
I love ice cream and have been to many in the Pasig area as well as ones outside Metro Manila. But for me, this place is definitely one of the top places to get home made ice cream. The ice cream is fresh and has a very rich taste. They also have a wide variety to choose from. My favorite ice cream flavors are Sumatra Arabica (chocolate-coffee base) and Javan Hot Chocolate (dark chocolate). Not as expensive as other ice cream store of it’s kind. It is definately recommended!

Tipsy Pig has opened a new branch in Bonifacio Global City – the second in the country along with its successful restaurant in Capitol Commons.
The new restaurant has around 120 seats inside, as well as outdoor seating (with a further 30 seats) and a spacious bar area. Along with the theme of Tipsy Pig’s other branch, the color scheme is neutral and sophisticated.
