Ooma Japanese Rice Bar by Chef Bruce Ricketts | Foodventure

I love Japanese cuisine. In fact, one of the things that’s on my bucketlist is to eat Japanese food in Japan. I did and I’ve never been happier. When I returned to Manila, I truly miss eating sushi, maki, udon, ramen, and the rest goes on. My cravings never seized in fact, they became more pronounced and demanding. Ok, so much for my back story.

A friend and I stumbled upon, Ooma Japanese Rice Bar located in Mega Fashion Hall, SM Megamall. I love the ambiance of this place – casual and fun, and at the same time big enough, which meant that tables aren’t packed too closely to each other giving patrons plenty of privacy and it’s not that too noisy compared to other restaurants.  By the way, I’ve already been here twice.

Roasted Pecan, Half-Baked Madagascar, and Javan Hot Chocolate

I love ice cream and have been to many in the Pasig area as well as ones outside Metro Manila.  But for me, this place is definitely one of the top places to get home made ice cream. The ice cream is fresh and has a very rich taste. They also have a wide variety to choose from. My favorite ice cream flavors are Sumatra Arabica (chocolate-coffee base) and Javan Hot Chocolate (dark chocolate). Not as expensive as other ice cream store of it’s kind. It is definately recommended!

Kanin Club in Ayala Triangle | Foodventure

Located at Ayala Triangle, Kanin Club will surely make your breakfast, lunch, dinner, or  any other meal of the day totally complete.

I think by now, every one knows that their Dinuguan is amazingly good. I love it. As compared to other restaurants who serve dinuguan, this one’s pretty hefty in servings, as well as the meat content (some just pack on the sauce but don’t really put on too much meat).
