Asakusa is one of the areas which is popular among Japanese and travelers. It is also the traditional downtown area of Tokyo and home to many internationally known sightseeing places like the Sensoji Temple and the great paper lantern of Kaminarimon. This is my second time visiting Asakusa and I couldn’t suppress the feeling of excitement the night before and thought ‘I can’t wait to go back and explore again.

Saw this in a bookstore, thought it was interesting .and the quirky cover and title of this book attracted me to pick it up. I didn’t read the summary for it usually spoils the fun. I rarely ever give 5-starts rating even if it’s written by my favorite author but this one truly deserves the applause.
Our traveler of the month is Mr. Leo Kevin Mendiola. I met him in an event last 2015 but I’ve been following his adventures via Instagram way before that. He’s traveler, a marathoner and an IT Project Manager by profession.
