WHAT IS DON QUIXOTE FERRIS WHEEL?

The Ferris wheel also known as the “Ebisu Tower”, is built into the façade of Don Quixote – a 24-hour discount mall – in 2005 but was closed in 2008 due mechanical fault then it was reopened in 2017. It is 77 meters (254 feet) high and it holds 32 gondolas, each of which can accommodate four passengers. It takes 15 minutes to complete a round  and the ride is open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM, weather permitting. You can see the shopping district as well as some of the city’s main attractions like Tsutenkaku Tower and the tallest building in Japan, Abeno Harukas. It’s especially spectacular at night when it’s all lit up.
