Mamangal Beach in Virac, Catanduanes | Philippines

white sand and blue colored beach

The Mamangal Beach is one of the hardest to reach beaches in Virac yet one of the most beautiful that you can lay your eyes on. Located in Mamangal, a small sitio adjacent to Brgy. Balite, it has a wide and long shoreline with a great view.

The beach is about 11 kilometers away from downtown. From Virac Town Center in Catanduanes take a tricycle going Mamangal beach. It’ll take about 30-40 mins to get there.

I was stunned by the hidden beauty of this beach. It has clear, warm, emerald-green water.

The sand is as fine as sugar, a mixed of white and golden brown, and silky smooth.

It’s really a haven for beach lovers. The best part is the beach is unexploited.

If you are planning to go on a fun-filled summer vacation without spending lots of money, this is definitely the perfect place. Catanduanes offers nature in its most unspoiled form.

And remember

Take nothing but pictures, leave nothing but footprints, kill nothing but time and burn nothing but calories!
