The newest baby of the group behind Hatch 22 has open it’s doors to hungry diners in BGC. The menu showcase an all-day breakfast, with more Filipino-inspired delicacies like tapa, adobo, their menu also offers a good mix of comfort food and drinks.
Just like it’s sister, the interior is nice and vintage-ish though I like the ambiance of Crisp better mainly because it feels cozier since it’s smaller. They also have an open space as well if you want an al fresco dining experience.
I tried their Adobo Flakes Plate, it looks very inviting on the plate but it’s texture was quite odd when eaten, still good though. My friend, Mayi had Longga Plate, it is not oily and very firm, and it has a mild salty, lots of pepper and vinegar taste.
Adobo Flakes Plate (p 300.00)
Flaked chicken thigh and pork belly adobo, salted egg salsa, brown dirty rice, sunny side up and seared tomatoes
Breakfast with Mayi after jogging. Haha!
It was drizzling and a bit chilly outside and our food was so warm and delicious. The service was pretty fast too! Overall, it was a good experience. I’ll go back to try their other dishes some other time. 🙂
Bon appétit, mon chéri!
